By booking and staying at Camp DeVo, guests agree to follow all Camp DeVo rules, including guest limits, quiet hours, fire restrictions, property care guidelines, and all posted instructions on the property and website. Guests are responsible for any damages caused during their stay and must comply with all local fire bans and safety regulations.
Camp DeVo is a private, outdoor recreational property located in a natural Alaska environment. Guests understand and accept that outdoor recreation and camping involve inherent risks that may result in injury, illness, property damage, or death. By staying at Camp DeVo, guests voluntarily assume all risks associated with the use of the property and surrounding area.
These risks may include, but are not limited to:
Wildlife encounters, including moose, bears, and other animals
River access, water hazards, drowning, changing currents, slippery banks, and cold water conditions
Uneven terrain, mud, trails, roots, rocks, and natural obstacles
Campfires, firewood, axes, grills, cooking equipment, and hot surfaces
Falling branches, trees, weather conditions, wind, rain, flooding, and other natural hazards
Injuries related to camping, outdoor recreation, or guest activities
Actions of other guests or animals, including guest-owned pets
Guests understand that Camp DeVo is a self-guided outdoor property and that no lifeguards, security personnel, medical staff, or onsite supervision are provided.
Parents and guardians are solely responsible for supervising minors at all times, especially near the river, campfires, trails, wildlife, and all outdoor features of the property.
Guests bringing pets are fully responsible for the behavior, supervision, and control of their animals at all times. Any injuries, damages, or incidents involving guest pets are the sole responsibility of the pet owner.
By booking and entering the property, guests agree to release and hold harmless Camp DeVo, Camp DeVo Alaska LLC, property owners, and affiliates from liability for injuries, accidents, losses, damages, or claims arising from the use of the property, except where prohibited by law.
Guests acknowledge that they are using the property at their own risk and agree to exercise caution and good judgment during their stay.
