Do’s & Don’ts at Camp DeVo
These guidelines help keep Camp DeVo enjoyable for everyone — and ready for the next guest.
Do’s
Enjoy all 6 acres — yours exclusively
Keep the gate shut and locked when possible
Use the boat launch and trail to access the river
Fires only in the main fire pit near the gazebo (firewood provided)
ATVs and motorcycles are welcome — stay on driveway, dirt areas, and established trails
Bring bear spray or a firearm for safety emergencies only
Let us know about extra guests (overnight or day visitors)
Forage if you like — leave some for the next guest
Leave camp as you found it, ready for the next stay
Don’ts
Leave trash — pack in, pack out
Climb down the riverbank near the horseshoe pit — use the trail or launch
Tear up land with ATVs or motorcycles — no ruts
Discharge firearms unless it’s an emergency
Have fires or fireworks during a fire ban
Put non-flushable items in the outhouse
Hunt or harvest animals on the property
Fishing at Camp DeVo
Fishing regulations change and are enforced — please know the rules before you fish.
On Property
Closed year-round to all salmon fishing
June 15 – April 14
Open to sport fishing for species other than salmon
Only one unbaited, single-hook artificial lure or fly is allowed
Nearby Fishing (Approx. 1 Mile)
At or below the Parks Highway Bridge
Open to sport fishing for salmon and other species
